Vadim Lasca Orsini is a multi-award-winning Venezuelan director based in Los Angeles.
Born into a family of musicians and stage performers, he began his musical training in conservatories and children's theater groups from an early age.
After high school he moved to Buenos Aires, where he studied Filmmaking at the Instituto de Artes Cinematográficas de Avellaneda.
As a director of music videos, commercials, and short films, he has built a body of work recognized nationally and internationally. "Normal," his first professional short, is the most selected and awarded Venezuelan short film in history, with 100+ official selections and 30+ awards.
Today he is a pioneer in AI integration and generation within narrative filmmaking. Recent works like "What Remains" push the boundaries of the medium, bridging traditional cinematic craft with emergent generative storytelling.
